Fat Free Foods Will Make You Fat

Have you noticed that most of the dieting population of today seems to be very much afraid of fats? They will go out of their way to avoid a fatty salad dressing on their restaurant salad, virtuously squeezing a lemon wedge onto their bowl of romaine and butter lettuces. Yet these same people will think nothing of eating an entire box of fat free cookies! Their argument, or course, is that the cookies are fat free!

The cookies also have calories, too. Fat free does not mean the same thing as calorie free. But the perennial dieters seem to think so. Check out the grocery carts the next time you go shopping for food. When you see a cart that is loaded with fat free salad dressing and mayonnaise, fat free cheese sour cream and half and half, fat free candy, cookies, and individually wrapped cakes, you are pretty safe in assuming that the person pushing the cart is one of those who thinks as long as it's fat free, it's okay for them to eat all they want of it.

Nothing could be further from the truth! Check out the person pushing the grocery cart, too. Nine times out of ten, they will be overweight.

Actually, the right kind of fat can be very important in a weight loss regime. Fat, along with protein, is what makes you feel full for the longest time. Plus, there are several essential vitamins that the body cannot process without a bit of fat. If you are trying to stay completely fat free, you are going to soon be nutritionally bankrupt.

Do you take the time to read the labels on your fat free food selections? If you've never done this before, you are in for an unpleasant surprise. The calorie counts for these foods  are the same or even more than the amounts of calories in their full-fat counterparts! How can this be? Well, when the fat is removed from one of these product, the taste just seems to lack something important! So, extra sugar is added to make up for the fact that there is no fat. Fat free packaged products are definitely not a healthy way for you to diet!

If someone has devoted themselves to a fat free lifestyle, and is of the opinion that fat free means eat all you want, not only are they going to have a problem losing weight, but they will also be bothered by the progressive weight gain they will experience.  In fact, the proliferation of fat free foods we have had on the market for a few years now has made the people of the United States fatter than ever!

A low fat, high carbohydrate diet is just not a suitable diet for an overweight person. You would be hard pressed to find anyone who has been able to take off a substantial amount of weight by following a food plan like this. If you are looking for a weight loss plan that will really work, you need to look into Calorie Shifting.

Calorie shifting can also be called food rotating. Actually, you will be doing both. You will eat different foods every day, and the foods will have a different calorie count from one day to the next. This will confuse your body, as it won't be able to tell you are on a diet. Your metabolism, instead of slowing down like it usually does when you attempt a diet, will stay normal and even speed up a bit.

The Fat Loss Shocker System is a breakthru diet that even lets you pick your favorite foods and creates a custom diet for you with the calorie shifting already done so you do not have to spend time figuring it all out.

Fat free foods can be good for you. For example, most fruits and vegetables are fat free. But, stay away from packaged fat free food items. They won't help your diet aspirations at all.
